Origin Engineering has extensive experience profiling 10th point elevations for steel and prestressed concrete girders. Our team calculates theoretical deck grades and provides haunch and clip angle grades for setting stay-in-place deck forms.  

Origin Engineering will find and verify project control points are in place and not disturbed prior to a project start date. This gives Contractors peace of mind that their project schedule will not be delayed due to Project Control issues. Our team can also set additional Control Points as needed throughout Project Limits. 

Origin Engineering provides as-built surveys of existing structures to assist with project requirements or to assess true structure locations. We utilize robotic total stations with reflectorless survey technology to measure structure components and provide accurate and clear results. 

Origin Engineering has experience providing Quality Control/Quality Assurance Surveys to verify the accuracy of previous construction layout performed by others. This process aims to avoid construction layout errors that can be costly and result in significant project delays.  

Origin Engineering provides both field surveying and in-office quantity calculations and take-offs. Our team utilizes Carlson Survey computer software to quantify material take-offs. These services are used during bidding, construction, and post-construction phases of work. Additionally, we assist Contractors with quantity disputes to ensure Contactors are accurately compensated for work performed.
